Fusong County has a history of 440 years since the first year of Qin Long in the Ming Dynasty. In 1995, it was named "the hometown of ginseng in China" by the state, ranking first among the "Baxter" named in the same period in China. It has the largest ginseng trading market in Asia, and the newly-built Wanliang Changbai Mountain ginseng market with an investment of 120 million yuan, covering an area of 54,000 square meters, gathers and drives the ginseng produced in Hengren and Xinbin in Liaoning in the west, Hunchun in Yanbian in the east and Daxinganling in Heilongjiang in the north. The sales network covers more than 30 countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong. Beigang Town is located in the northeast of Fusong County, Jilin Province, in the heart of Changbai Mountain, with high forest coverage, rich forest resources and good ecological environment. Beigang Town relies on its own location advantages and resource advantages to continuously develop and expand township enterprises. At present, Beigang Town (Shuzheng Ginseng) has been shortlisted for the fourth batch of national demonstration villages and towns with one village and one product.
