A perennial herb with twisted fruit, up to 12(16) cm, the whole plant is covered with white branched hairs. The roots are slender, the rhizomes are long, and there are fibrous residual leaves. Stems are tufted, erect, slender, and the apex bends like a snake, sometimes with branches. Basal leaves are rosette-shaped, spoon-shaped, 15-25mm long, 2-4mm wide, tapering at the base, slightly pointed at the apex, with a few teeth on the whole or edge; Cauline leaves 2-4, ovate, 15-20mm long and 4-6mm wide, usually with 2 small teeth on each side. Racemes are elongated after flowering, with white flowers; Sepals are sparsely hairy on the back, ovate, 2.5 mm long and 1-1.5 mm wide: petals are obovate, 3 mm long and 1.5 mm wide, with claws extending downward at the base and slightly concave at the apex; Ovary ovate, glabrous. Short siliques are long, narrow and round, 5-8 mm long and 1.5-2 mm wide, often twisted, hairless, with obvious midvein; The seeds are arranged in 2 rows, brown and oval, and the daughter leaves are leaning against each other. Flowering in June and fruiting in July. Born on high mountains and slopes. Distributed in China (Northeast), Russian (Eastern Siberia, Kamchatka) and North America.
