Liuheshan grape

"Liuhe Mountain Grape" is a specialty of Liuhe County, Jilin Province. It is a high-quality wine grape and the main raw material for brewing wine in this county. Liuhe County, located in the southeast of Jilin Province, belongs to the semi-mountainous area. The soil in the territory is fertile, commonly known as chernozem, which is very suitable for the growth of Vitis amurensis with short growth period. The ears of Vitis amurensis are long and conical, the average grain weight is 1.38g, the color is strong, the pigment is high, the fruit powder is thick, the fruit is purple-black or blue-black, the juice is ruby red, sweet and sour, and has a strong fragrance of Vitis amurensis, which is pure natural, pollution-free and free. On December 31st, 2009, Liuheshan grape was protected by the national geographical indication products. The history of large-scale grape cultivation in Liuhe Mountain can be traced back to the late 1970s. From the attempt of Gongniang No.1 to the planning and development, from the introduction and large-scale development of "Shuangyou" varieties, the county's mountain grape planting base developed to 15,000 mu by the end of 2007, and the growers' profits grew steadily, and the mountain grape industry developed well. In 2005, Liuhe was rated as "National Standardized Demonstration Zone of Grape Production". Liuhe is one of the main producing areas of high-quality mountain grape base in China. Thanks to the high-quality grape resources, the county's wine brewing industry is booming. In 2008, the county had 44 mountain wine production enterprises that passed QS certification, with 98 production lines and an annual production capacity of 150,000 kiloliters. In 2006, it was awarded as "the hometown of high-quality mountain wine in China". Liuhe Mountain Grape-Scope of Origin The geographical indication products of Liuhe Mountain Grape are protected by 15 towns including liuhe town, Sanyuanpu Korean Town, Tuoyaoling Town, Xiangyang Town, Ankou Town, Shengshui Town, Hongshi Town, Hengtong Town, Gushanzi Town, Wudaogou Town, Liangshuihezi Town, Shijiadian Township, Liunan Township, Jiangjiadian Korean Township and Luotongshan Town in Jilin Province. Liuheshan grape is a geographical indication protection product. Liuhe Mountain Grape is a geographical indication certification trademark.
