Yansong

Also known as dwarf pine, Changbai Mountain is also known as climbing pine. Pinaceae, small shrubby trees. Branches are drooping, new branches are densely short-haired, leaves are in a bundle of five needles, 3~7 cm long, with triangular edges, resin pipe is marginal, and leaf sheaths fall off. The big branches lie on the ground, and the bark is grayish brown to dark brown. Cone ovoid, 3~5 cm long. The seeds have no wings. Pinus tabulaeformis is distributed in a small amount in the area above 1800 meters above sea level in Changbai Mountain, and grows on the wet hillside. Pinus tabulaeformis is a tree species with high ornamental value, which can be used as a bonsai and is very valuable.
