Yitong Jingtai Red Apricot is a specialty of Jingtai Town, Yitong County, Siping City, Jilin Province. Yitong's Jingtai Red Apricot is famous in Northeast China, with large fruit, small core and thick meat, with an average single fruit weight of 76 grams and a maximum fruit weight of 105 grams. The peel is yellow and flushed. The pulp is flexible and juicy, sweet and sour, and of good quality. Very popular in the market. Jingtai big red apricot has strong stress resistance, disease resistance and cold tolerance, and its yield is relatively stable, and the age is not obvious. It likes the growth environment with loose soil, good ventilation, active microorganisms and moderate fertilizer and water. The branches and leaves of the tree are similar to apricot trees, and the tree is strong. The height of a 17-year-old tree can reach about 5 meters. Prunes and plums can bear fruit in 5 years after planting, and enter the full fruit period in 15 years. The average plant yield is about 150 kg, and the highest plant yield can reach more than 300 kg. The apricot in Jingtai blooms in late April and early May, and matures in the middle and late July.
