Yitong velvet antler is a specialty of Yitong County, Siping City, Jilin Province. Yitong county has a long history of raising deer, and the number of deer on hand, the total output of velvet antler, the single output and the quality rate of velvet antler all occupy a certain position in the country. Pilose antler is a valuable Chinese herbal medicine, one of the "Three Treasures in Northeast China". In recent years, the scale of deer production and development in Yitong County has been expanding. By 2008, there were nearly 100,000 deer. There are two large deer farms with more than 1,000 deer, and 16 deer farms with more than 100 deer, and a large number of specialized deer villages, specialized villages and specialized households have emerged. The annual output of velvet antler is 41,800 kg, with an output value of 62.32 million yuan. Yitong Manchu Autonomous County has become one of the major deer raising counties in China. Pilose antler contains phospholipids, glycolipids, colloids, hormones, fatty acids, amino acids, protein, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and other components, among which amino acids account for more than half of the total components.
