Suizhong apple

Suizhong County, Huludao City has a long history of fruit tree cultivation and rich resources. In 1998, it entered the top 10 counties of fruit production in China, with an area of more than 600,000 mu and more than 16 million trees, with an annual output of more than 400,000 tons of fruit. Suizhong county began the demonstration and popularization of apple bagging cultivation technology in the early 1990s. By 2000, the number of apple bagging in the county had reached 300 million, and the quality of fruit had been greatly improved, which alone increased the output value by more than 100 million yuan. 2007 is the second year that the provincial demonstration subsidy project for key technologies of fruit bagging was implemented in Suizhong County, with an implementation area of 2,500 mu and 20 million pieces. Although the quantity is limited, it has played a positive role in promoting the development of fruit industry and the improvement of fruit quality in Suizhong County. Suizhong Apple is a geographical indication certification trademark.
