Banshigou jujube

Banshigou Jujube is located in Banshigou Village, at the northeast foot of Little Hongluo Mountain, Huludao City, and is famous for its rich jujube. Jujube here is big and thin-skinned, with thick meat and small core, and is rich in nutrition. During the jujube planning season, more than 80,000 jujube trees distributed on the mountains and valleys are decorated with colorful beads, with an annual output of about 500,000 Jin. Banshigou jujube has been cultivated for more than 200 years. Since liberation, fruit farmers have cultivated it carefully and managed it scientifically, and the output of jujube has increased year by year. There are two main varieties, one is sweet and crisp jujube, and the other is storage-resistant jujube. Jujube is extremely rich in nutrition. Besides sugar, it also contains protein, fat, calcium, phosphorus, iron and various vitamins. It can be processed into candied dates, black dates, drunken dates, burnt dates, canned dates, jujube paste, jujube wine, jujube vinegar and other foods, and can be used as medicine. Because jujube is widely used, it is welcomed by domestic and foreign markets.
