Lianshan District is located in the northeast of Huludao City, Liaoning Province. Lianshan is a fruit production base in Liaoning Province, with many varieties and large output, especially grapes, plums, apples and Pak Lei, with an annual output of 100,000 tons. Xibao Village, Tashan Township, Lianshan District is surrounded by mountains and seas, with a mild climate, which is very suitable for the growth of fruit trees. Xibao Village has a population of 2,240, and the history of planting fruit trees in the village has been nearly 100 years. In 2004, Xibao Village and Lianshan Hongluo Fruit Professional Cooperative joined forces to establish an apple production base in Xibao Village, Tashan Township, Lianshan District. It was recognized as a pollution-free production base in 2005; In 2007, it was recognized as a green food production base. Relying on Lianshan Hongluo Fruit Professional Cooperative, the village's sales volume has soared, and the supply of high-quality fruits is in short supply. At present, the fruit planting in Xibao Village keeps up with the international market. There are more than 100 varieties of Fuji apples alone, and the planting area of Spring Snow Peach and Big Plum is increasing year by year. Besides selling well in the domestic market, fruits are also exported to Russia and North Korea. The per capita income of the whole village depends on the fruit industry, exceeding 10,000 yuan.
