Tanrou, one of the unique dishes in Northeast China, is developed on the basis of stew and braised pork. There are many jar meat restaurants in Northeast China, however, the most famous one is Li Ji jar meat in Tieling City, which is located at the foot of Longshou Mountain. Li Ji jar meat was first created by Li Xuexin who fled from Tianjin to Tieling in 1918. It has been four generations for nearly a hundred years. In 1989, Li Ji jar meat applied for a national patent, becoming the first individual catering industry in Tieling to obtain a national patent. Authentic, Li Ji jar meat is the only one. Since its inception in 1918, Li Ji jar meat has been deeply loved by people from all walks of life, from dignitaries to ordinary people. Everyone likes to taste it, which lasted for a hundred years and lasted for a long time. Li Ji jar meat is characterized by fat but not greasy, thin but not firewood, unique flavor and economical benefits. According to modern nutrition theory, it is beneficial and harmless for healthy adults, especially teenagers, to eat pork with both fat and thin, generally not more than 100 grams. In 1985, Tao Zhu's wife, Ceng Zhi, led a delegation to visit Tieling, and specially proposed to taste Li Ji jar meat. Everyone is full of praise for the delicious Li Ji jar meat and the stewed rice with white meat head. The jar meat diet initiated by Li Ji jar meat won Tieling the reputation of "jar meat city". Now, Li's descendants have inherited ancestral skills and opened two Li Ji jar meat restaurants in Guangrong Street and Chaihe Street in Yinzhou District, and continue to offer delicious food to people. According to the development of the situation and the needs of the masses, they also added traditional snacks such as skeletons, pickles and crisp fish, which won people's love.
