Xifeng velvet antler

Xifeng velvet antler is a famous product in Xifeng County, Liaoning Province. China velvet antler is produced in Northeast China, mainly in Xifeng County. Unique "coarse, large and fat" characteristics, with high economic value. Deer antler, deer tendon, deer heart, deer whip, deer kidney and deer fetus are all valuable medicinal materials. It has the special effects of nourishing marrow, nourishing blood, strengthening waist and kidney, strengthening tendons and bones. In 2010, after being examined by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, it was decided to implement the protection of national geographical indication products for "Xifeng velvet antler". The historical origin is Xifeng, with a long history and rich charm. Since ancient times, different ethnic groups have thrived in this Xifeng velvet antler shop in Figure 1. In 1619, after Ye He was destroyed by Nuerhachi, the Qing emperor, it was sealed as a royal paddock. According to legend, Emperor Kangxi once hunted here and shot a deer. The deer fled with an arrow. Emperor Kangxi blurted out, "This is an escape deer!" " Hence the name "Running Deer". In 1896, reclamation was banned, and a county was established in 1902. Because the river flows west and is rich in products, it is named "Xifeng". The result of indiscriminate hunting eventually led to a sharp decline in deer herds, so the local government appointed local people to keep them at home and banished them when the emperor went hunting for the imperial hunting. It was handed down and finally developed into an industry in Xifeng County.
