Dawa County has a broad space for the development of meat duck industry, with a history of raising ducks for more than 30 years, with obvious geographical advantages, suitable temperature, moderate humidity and superior geographical conditions. The "five unifications" management model of unified feeding, unified feeding, unified epidemic prevention technical services, unified product recovery and unified fund settlement has not only accumulated a solid material foundation, but also created a group of farmers who understand technology and can manage. Meat duck products of "Daqing Brand", "Liaohe Brand" and "Zhifu Brand" have been registered in the Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce, and seven meat duck processing enterprises, including Dawa County Qingshui Yonghe Poultry Farm, Dawa County Qingshui Poultry Farm, Dawa County Minyi Duck Farm and Dawa County Jinyuan Meat Poultry Processing Factory, have been certified by the Ministry of Agriculture for producing areas of pollution-free livestock products. In 2009, the number of meat ducks in the county was 30 million, and there were 156,000 breeding ducks, with an output value of 800 million yuan and a benefit of 120 million yuan. There are 7 leading meat duck breeding and processing enterprises in the county, covering an area of 560 mu, with a total investment of more than 100 million yuan, covering 11 towns, driving 10,000 breeders, with a daily processing capacity of about 60,000 meat ducks and an annual production of 50,000 tons of meat ducks. The meat duck products are not only sold to the three northeastern provinces, Beijing, Urumqi, Xi 'an, Wuhan and other large and medium-sized cities, but also exported to countries and regions such as Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. There are 23 professional meat duck production cooperatives in the county, including 1 at county level and 22 at town level, with 3500 members. In 2010, the number of meat ducks in the county will reach 60 million, an increase of 66.7% compared with 2009, including 400,000 breeding ducks, 54 million slaughtered meat ducks, and 6 million kept meat ducks (including 400,000 breeding ducks), driving 12,000 farmers, completing the feeding of 60 million meat ducks, with an output value of 1.15 billion tons of meat duck products.
