Ling Chuan Liquor is a famous product in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. Jinzhou is surrounded by Daling River and Xiaoling River. Because of its excellent water quality, it provides superior conditions for brewing fine wine. According to records, Tongshengjin Shaoguo, the predecessor of Ling Chuan Winery today, was built in the sixth year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (AD 1801) and has a history of more than 180 years. At that time, the white wine brewed here was well known. After liberation, after several constructions, it became a famous Ling Chuan winery, and the output of liquor increased continuously. As early as 1955, Ling Chuan Liquor was rated as a local famous wine in Liaoning, and in 1963, it was rated as a national high-quality wine at the second national wine tasting, and won a silver award. In 1979, it was rated as a famous wine in Liaoning Province, and in 1984, it won a silver cup award from the Ministry of Light Industry. Ling Chuan liquor was made from sorghum, bran koji as saccharifying agent, aroma-producing yeast, fermented for 21 days, slowly distilled, stored and blended. The liquor is clear and transparent, and its fragrance contains maotai flavor. It is soft in the mouth, sweet and clean, and has a long aftertaste. Its color, aroma and taste are excellent, full of natural feeling and unique flavor. This wine has been exported to Japan, France, Hong Kong and Macao since 1952, and has been exhibited in Brazil and Syria.
