Taoli Village is known as "the first village of Chinese chestnut", with unique climatic conditions and high-quality soil, and it is one of the few areas suitable for planting organic chestnut in China. There are 15,000 mu of chestnut orchards in the village, with nearly 1 million plants, with an annual output of 2,000 tons of chestnut. At present, there are 28 varieties such as Danze, Jinhua and Dafeng, among which "Taoli No.1" developed by our village has passed the green food certification. In recent years, Taoli Village has set up a chestnut deep processing plant in conjunction with agricultural scientific research institutions to produce chestnut powder, chestnut drinks, fresh-keeping chestnut kernels and other chestnut foods. The village's economy has developed greatly, with an annual output value of 196 million yuan and profits and taxes of 19.6 million yuan. Fixed assets have reached more than 30 million yuan, and the per capita income of villagers is 12,300 yuan. The village has successively won the honorary titles of Top Ten Well-off Villages in China, National Advanced Village for Spiritual Civilization Construction, Advanced Demonstration Unit of Chinese Patriotism, and Typical Village for Building a New Socialist Countryside.
