At present, there are more than 1,600 ginkgo trees in six streets in urban areas, and there are more than 4,000 ginkgo trees in parks and suburbs, which is rare in China. Ginkgo biloba is a rare and efficient tree species, with long life and fruiting period of more than 800 years, which is known as the crown of trees. Natural growth, generally 25~30 years to bear fruit, artificial grafting, can bear fruit 15~20 years earlier. Ginkgo biloba has a high fruit yield. It is cultivated according to the method of "short and dense early", with 110 plants per mu. After 5 years, the fruit bearing capacity of each plant is 1.5 kg, which is worth 30 yuan. The income per mu is 3,000 yuan, and it will increase exponentially every year. After 8 years, the average output value per mu is 1-20,000 yuan. In Dandong area, ginkgo biloba is developed as an efficient forestry, with 238 mu of ginkgo seedlings.
