Adult sows have an average body length of 155.8 cm, a bust of 146.4 cm and a weight of 203.9 kg. The biggest feature of Liaoning black pig is its good reproductive performance. Generally, it is 4-5 months after birth, weighing 50-60 kg, sexually mature, and breeding begins at 7-8 months; The average estrus cycle is 19.8 days, the duration of estrus is 85-98 hours, and the gestation period is 115.14 days. The average litter size of primiparous sows was 12.8, the weight of newborn litter was 12 kg, the weight of 50-day weaned litter was 126 kg, and 10.94 litters survived. The average litter size of multiparous sows was 14.98, the weight of newborn litter was 12.6 kg, the weight of 50-day weaning litter was 139 kg, and 11.46 litters survived.
