Yanhong peach

Yanhong peach

Yanhong peach: a late-maturing variety, which matures in the first half of August. The fruit shape is extremely large, with an average fruit weight of 180 grams and a maximum fruit weight of 450 grams. The fruit is beautiful, high yield, good fruit quality and excellent quality. Growth and development characteristics (1) Roots: mainly distributed in the soil layer with a depth of 20 ~ 50 cm, and its extension width is the most near the reach of the crown. May-June and September-October are the peak of peach root growth. (2) Buds: There are two kinds of peach buds: flower buds and leaf buds. The flower buds are bigger and fatter, and the leaf buds are thinner and smaller. The most common is a double bud with a flower bud and a leaf bud. (3) Branches: According to the differences in growth position, growth potential, length and thickness, they are called overgrowth branches, development branches, fruiting branches and single bud branches respectively. According to the length and thickness of fruit branches, fruit branches can be divided into long fruit branches, medium fruit branches and short fruit branches. Environmental conditions (1) Temperature: The average annual temperature in suitable planting areas is 12℃ ~ 17%, and peach trees are weak in resistance to low temperature during flowering, and the required temperature is above 10℃. (2) Illumination: It is a photophobic fruit tree. If the illumination is insufficient, a large number of branches in the crown die and become bald, resulting in the upward movement of the fruiting part. In the management of trees, we should fully consider the characteristics of light-loving, and the trees should be opened naturally, and the planting distance should not be too close. (3) Moisture: The roots of trees breathe vigorously and are afraid of waterlogging. Continuous water accumulation for two days and nights will cause deciduous leaves and dead trees. Insufficient water supply during the growth period will seriously affect the fruit development and branch growth. Excessive rainfall during the fruit maturity will lead to poor fruit coloring, decreased quality and aggravated fruit cracking. (4) Soil: the requirements for soil are not strict, and general soil can be cultivated, but it is most suitable for sandy soil with good drainage, deep soil layer, slight acidity and neutrality.
