Dandong, Liaoning has a warm climate and abundant rainfall, which is very beneficial to the development of strawberries. The production area of strawberries in the city is nearly 100,000 mu, and the total output of strawberries is 150,000 tons. It is an important base for strawberry production in the whole province and even the whole country. There are many varieties of strawberries produced in Dandong, including Japanese varieties with rich fragrance, European and American varieties with Hani and Spanish varieties with Tudela, totaling more than 20 varieties. Dandong specialty: strawberry Dandong has a warm climate and abundant rainfall, which is very beneficial to the development of strawberries. Suitable areas for strawberry planting are relatively broad, and Donggang, Fengcheng, Kuandian, Zhen 'an District, Zhenxing District and yuanbao district can be planted in large areas. Through years of development, the strawberry production area in the city has reached nearly 100,000 mu, accounting for more than 81% of the total strawberry production area in the province. Among them, 35,000 solar greenhouses produce 35,000 mu of strawberries, 42,000 large, medium and small plastic cold sheds produce 36,000 mu of strawberries, and the total strawberry output is 150,000 tons, accounting for more than 10% of the national total output. It is an important base for strawberry production in the whole province and even the whole country.
