Autumn Pak Lei in western Liaoning

Liaoning Province is one of the three major Pak Lei producing areas in China, and Pak Lei in autumn is one of the oldest pear varieties in northern China. Because of its characteristics of being fond of fat and water and suitable for sandy loam growth on sunny slopes, Pak Lei in autumn chose to settle in the mountainous area of western Liaoning, and Pak Lei in autumn is a oblong or oval fruit, with an average weight of 150g and the largest single fruit weighing 183g. The fruit is huge, but its core is small, its skin is golden, its meat is tender and its taste is sweet. It can be eaten fresh or processed into preserved fruit, dried fruit, canned food, fruit wine and jam. The storability of Pak Lei in autumn is also commendable. After storage, the color of Pak Lei in autumn is more positive and accompanied by aroma, which can usually be stored until after long summer next year.
