Chestnut has been cultivated in Huanren for nearly a hundred years, mainly distributed in Shajianzi Town, Wulidianzi Town, Xiangyang Township, Yahe Township, Pulebao Town and Huanren Town. The total area of chestnut in the county reached 98,300 mu, with 5.46 million plants, resulting in an area of 66,900 mu and 3.24 million plants, with a total output of 23 million kilograms and an annual output value of 90 million yuan.
