"Golden Meat" is an ancient court-flavored dish of Manchu, which was once listed as the first delicacy of Manchu. Since the establishment of the Qing Dynasty, every grand ceremony and banquet must be preceded by golden meat, and this delicious dish is said to have been created by Qing Taizu Aixinjue Luo Nurhachi. According to legend, Nuerhachi, a Manchu, lived in Fushun, Liaoning Province in his childhood before he became rich. At first, he became a member of the Nuzhen tribal leader. At that time, the tribal leader was very particular about eating and drinking. Every meal required eight dishes and one soup, and the golden plate was carefully painted. It was necessary to have a banquet for the guests. He selected a maid who was good at cooking as the chef, and Nuerhachi helped the maid to finish the seventh course. When Nuerhachi, a helper, saw this, he used his quick wits to wrap the sliced tenderloin in egg yolk liquid, stir-fry it quickly in the oil pan, then put it on a plate and send it. After the leader tasted it, he found it particularly delicious. When the banquet was over, the waiter had to tell the leader the truth, and then Nuerhachi asked him what the dish was called. Nurhachi asked for luck and replied, "It's called golden meat. Later, Nurhachi made his fortune as the founder of the late Jin Dynasty and became the first ancestor of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, at every ceremony, the golden meat must be served first, and this story must be told in public. Therefore, the emperors of the Qing Dynasty regarded the golden meat as the supreme delicacy to show that they did not forget the ancestors' thoughts and rewards, and then it was passed down as a much-told story.
