Liaoyan

Liao inkstone produced in Benxi, Liaoning Province was regarded as the best inkstone more than 100 years ago, and it was once famous as a tribute to the imperial palace in Qing Dynasty. Liao inkstone, also known as Qiaotou inkstone, is carved with dacron blue marble produced near Qiaotou Town in Benxi as raw material. The varieties of Liaoyan are brought forth new ones, and its processing technology is more mature and perfect.
