Benxi linxiashen

Benxi county is rich in 114 families and more than 970 kinds of wild Chinese herbal medicines, and there are more than 300 kinds of rare and common medicinal materials with an annual output of 5,000 tons. The main varieties are ginseng, asarum liaotungensis, five flavors of liaoning and acanthopanax senticosus. By the end of the 11th Five-Year Plan, Benxi County had developed 617,000 mu of woodland medicinal materials, mainly ginseng under forest. Benxi Manchu Autonomous County has 6 townships, 1 farm and 56 administrative villages, including Xiaoshi Town, Jianchang Town, Nandian Town, Tianshifu Town, Dongying Square Township, Caohezhang Town and Farm. The geographical coordinates are 123 55 ′ 43 ″ ~ 124 45 ′ 24 ″ east longitude and 40 55 ′ 40 ″ ~ 41 24 ′ 19 ″ north latitude. Benxi ginseng under forest is a geographical indication product of agricultural products.
