Fushun Hashema

Fushun Hushma is an excellent species of China Rana chensinensis formed under the specific hell conditions in Fushun area. It enjoys the reputation of green "soft gold" and is a valuable economic frog species that combines medicine, nourishing and eating. Fushun Hashema semi-artificial breeding gained successful experience as early as the 1970s. Since the 1980s, the city has fully promoted artificial breeding technology, launched large-scale artificial breeding of Hashema in the whole region, and drafted and formulated "Fushun Hashema semi-artificial breeding technical regulations", which was promulgated and implemented by Liaoning Technical Supervision Bureau, making Fushun Hashema breeding more standardized, large-scale and scientific. Hushma (frog), also known as frog, is the China wood frog, which originated from Manchu, and is called "oil frog" by the people in Northeast China. Mainly refers to females. Hashema has high medicinal value and edible value. Female Hashema, sexually mature two years later, began to grow oil. About one catty of oil can be taken out every 200 or so. This oil is considered as a yin nourishing medicine in traditional Chinese medicine. Its ingredients mainly contain protein, as well as a variety of amino acids, enzymes and various carotene and other substances. Sweet, salty and flat in nature, it can play the role of tonifying kidney and essence, nourishing yin and moistening lung. Its main function is to treat weakness, postpartum disorder, mental deficiency, palpitation and insomnia, night sweats and so on. Hashema contains a high content of protein, which can be used for food supplement. The larger Hashima, with its hind legs spread out, can reach 20 cm in length, generally about 15 cm. Hashema is an amphibian. In spring, summer and autumn every year, it lives in alpine bushes for more than five months, and spends the remaining six months from spawning, hatching, reproduction to hibernation completely in water. As the saying goes, "there is no fish when the water is clear", but Hashema is different. It prefers Qingshui River. Hashema's food is mainly insects such as mosquitoes, which usually feed at night. The scope of protection of Fushun Hashema geographical indication products is based on the scope proposed in the Letter on Defining the Origin Scope of Fushun Hashema Geographical Indication Products (Fuzheng [2006] No.86) of Fushun City, Liaoning Province, and it is the administrative area under the jurisdiction of five townships, namely Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County and Tangtu Manchu Township, Shangma Township, Houan Town, Maquanzi Township and Jiubing Township in Fushun County.
