Haicheng stilts

Haicheng stilts, also known as Haicheng Yangko, have a history of more than 300 years. For the first time, I landed on my feet, called Diyangko; Later, in the Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, the Yangko was changed to the stilts of Gaohai City. After long-term exploration by folk artists, they constantly innovate in performance forms and gradually form their own unique performance style. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the party and the government attached great importance to the excavation, arrangement and reform of folk art, and through the joint efforts of stilt artists and professional literary and art workers, Haicheng stilt entered a new development period. With its popularity, preciseness, delicacy and rich local characteristics, it has a long-standing reputation in southern Liaoning, northeast China and even the whole country, and has gradually entered the international art world with its unique national style.
