Haicheng folk drum music

Haicheng folk drum music is one of the existing traditional folk musical instruments in our city, commonly known as "drum music class" or "drum music room". It is a folk instrumental ensemble with playing instruments as the main configuration form, mostly composed of folk artists and folk music lovers, and is played in folk weddings, funerals and opening birthdays. As an important part and birthplace of Liaoning drum music, as early as 2006, Liaoning drum music was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. At the invitation of China Conservatory of Music, Haicheng Drum Music sent ten drum performers and two stilt performers to Beijing to perform and exchange views on the protection and inheritance of China's intangible cultural heritage.
