Ganwang leek is a good vegetable originated in Ganwang Township, Haicheng County, Liaoning Province, and its reputation is growing in Northeast China. The characteristics of Ganwang leek are long, wide, white, green, tender, crisp and delicious. Rich in vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, iron and other substances, but also contains volatile oil and sulfide, which has the effect of promoting appetite and sterilization. Wang Zhen, a city in Haicheng, has a long history of producing leeks in winter. As early as 2OO years ago, some people in Ganwang Village planted leeks in their front yard, built walls with mud piles, put up wooden frames, installed glass on the Chaoyang surface, collected and drafted curtains to let the sun shine during the day, and put down grass curtains at night to keep warm, so that leeks could grow as usual, and fresh leeks could be eaten during the cold Spring Festival, which created a road for producing fresh vegetables in winter and off-season in the north. Through long-term exploration, farmers who feel the king have mastered advanced production technology. They cover warm pits for 55-60 days from the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month, so that leek roots can be thawed and turned green. On the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month, leeks can be cut into the market, and then they will catch up with the 15th day of the first month in 20 days. During the period of cutting the second and third knives, cucumbers will be planted in the rows of leeks. Regularly irrigate and apply sufficient fertilizer, and after applying foot fertilizer, apply high-quality fertilizer. Farmers are willing to invest in production. Leek seeds were introduced from Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province, so they were named Hanzhong Winter Leek because of their good winterness. Many farmers not only use bean cakes and oil feet as fertilizer, but also use headhunting meat to go to non-vegetable ditches as fertilizer. Because of good seeds, sufficient water and fertilizer, leeks grow fast in greenhouse, generally 30 cm per plant, 50 cm in height, 5-8 mm in leaf width and 1 cm in width. The leeks are long, tender and delicious, with high yield, and can produce 70-80 kg of leeks per foot, with an output value of more than 300 yuan. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, the chives in Ganwang Greenhouse developed rapidly, from the courtyard to the earth, from Ganwang to the whole county, the whole city and all parts of Northeast China, and went to the equivalent home in Russia, which was favored by Chinese and foreign consumers.
