Stichopus Dalian

Stichopus japonicus, a kind of sea cucumber. Dalian is the main producing area of Stichopus japonicus in China. Because of its high nutritional value, it is a special product for entertaining Chinese and foreign VIPs. Mainly distributed in the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea. Stichopus japonicus, as a precious seafood, is listed as one of the "eight treasures". According to the records in Compendium of Materia Medica, "the sea cucumber produced in Liaodong is black and brown in color and tender and prickly in flesh, which is called Liaoshen or Sea Cucumber. It is of excellent quality, and its medicinal properties are sweet and non-toxic. It has the effects of tonifying kidney yin, promoting pulse and blood, and treating dysentery and ulcers." Because its medicinal properties are warm and tonic, it is full of enemy ginseng, so it is named sea cucumber.
