Intensive and large-scale production has provided a guarantee for the construction of agricultural standardization, enabling Dongmatun Village to build an organic apple production base around "Dongmatun" brand apples, carry out standardized production in all aspects such as planting, processing, packaging, transportation and marketing, strictly implement the quality standards and production and processing technical regulations of organic food and green food products, and enhance the market development momentum of brand products. In 2009, Xiaoguoguang Apple produced in Dongmatun Village was registered by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as "Product Certification Trademark of Geographical Indications". The village's "Dongmatun" brand Red Fuji Apple is highly praised by consumers because of its thin skin, fresh color, crisp and juicy flesh, sweet and sour taste and green food production standards. Dongmatun Village has also won the honorary titles of "2009 wafangdian city Excellent Demonstration Village for Socialist Construction" and "Dalian Civilized Village".
