Comb shell

Chlamys belongs to mollusk phylum, bivalve, Claphabranchia, Heteropoda, Scallopidae, Scallops; Living in 3m～ 30m rock reefs and sandy seabed; Filter feeding, the bait is mainly phytoplankton; It is named after the right shell front ear has obvious foot hole and several thin comb teeth. Growth line of shell surface is fine, with radial ribs with different thickness; There are about 10 left shells and 20 right shells with irregular mucro on the ribs. Bein is one of the main cultured shellfish in our county, which has wide uses, tender meat, fresh taste and high economic value.
