Hujia Village, Shuangdaowan Street, Lushunkou District, Dalian City is located at the southernmost tip of Shuangdaowan Street, 20 kilometers away from the center of the district. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side. The village area is 4.3 kilometers, with a population of 1,109 and cultivated land area of 2,276 mu. Hujia Village has superior geographical conditions, pleasant climate and good water quality. It is most suitable for planting big cherries. From 2003 to 2005, Hujia Village made efforts for three years to adjust its industrial structure. Returning farmland to forests planted 1,800 mu of fruit trees, including 1,200 mu of 60,000 large cherries. In 2008, 500 mu of fruit trees have borne fruit and achieved initial benefits. In 2008, village leaders made the big cherry in Hujia Village bigger and stronger, and raised the visibility of the park. Village-level investment is 3.16 million yuan to transform the infrastructure of the park. At present, the oil roads inside and outside the park are vertical and horizontal, and the service facilities are complete, which brings hope and economic benefits to fruit farmers. Hujia Village, Shuangdaowan Street, takes the big cherry planting technical training as the key brand, constantly renews the concept, expands the training objects, expands the training scope, and explores the domestic market, and develops into a regional rural professional technical cooperation service organization integrating rural popular science, farmers' applicable skills training, and providing pre-,middle-and post-natal services for fruits, which has become a banner of agricultural industrialization development in Shuangdaowan Street.
