Lushun shrimp

Lushun shrimp is a specialty of Lushunkou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. Shrimp in Lushun Sea is neat in head, bright in body surface, tender in meat and extremely rich in nutrition. Lushun sea shrimp is a national product protected by geographical indications of agricultural products. Lushun sea shrimp is also called golden hook shrimp. Shrimp with golden hook is called the king of dried shrimps, and it is named after a hook because of its golden color and similar shape. Shrimp with golden hook is made from a kind of shrimp called Denghong shrimp. This kind of shrimp grows from Changxing Island to Laotieshan, Lushun, on the southeast coast of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea. Because of the water temperature, it has a long growth cycle and will never grow up (no one has ever seen a red shrimp with a length of more than one inch). Its characteristics are neat head, bright body surface, tender meat and extremely rich nutrition. Among them, the content of protein is as high as 55%, far higher than that of river shrimp, and it also contains a lot of trace elements beneficial to human body, such as phosphorus, calcium and iodine. In 2013, the "Lushun Shrimp" declared by Dalian Lushunkou Fishery Association passed the examination of the Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and organized expert review, and implemented the registration and protection of national agricultural products geographical indications. The geographical protection scope of the origin of shrimp in Lushun: the junction of Guojiagou Village in Lushunkou District and Abalone Ducun Village in Dalian High-tech Park, and the Diaoyutui, the boundary between Xiaoheishi Village and Ganjingzi District in Lushunkou District, in the north. Geographical coordinates are 121 16 ′ 29 ″ east longitude ~ 121 20 ′ 52 ″ north latitude ~ 38 49 ′ 28 ″ north latitude. Lushun shrimp is a geographical indication product of agricultural products.
