Yemaotai peanut

Yemaotai peanut is a specialty of Yemaotai Town, Faku County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Peanuts produced in Yemaotai Town have unique flavor, good taste, and are rich in vitamins and minerals. They have the effects of lowering blood pressure, improving body fitness, and delaying aging, and are known as table food. Yemaotai area has a long history of peanut planting and is known as the hometown of peanuts. It is far away from the city, with abundant sunshine, fresh air and excellent water quality. In 2002, it was determined as a pollution-free peanut product production base by the monitoring of soil, atmosphere and water quality by the municipal environmental protection department (environmental certification No.012). In 2004, the product was certified by the Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, and it met the standard requirements of pollution-free agricultural products (certificate number WGH-04-07866). The peanuts produced here have unique flavor, good taste, and are rich in vitamins and minerals. They have the effects of lowering blood pressure, improving body function and delaying aging, and are known as table food. In 2013, the whole town planted 60,000 mu of peanuts and produced 20 million kilograms of peanuts, achieving an output value of more than 100 million yuan. After Yemaotai Town was named "Hometown of Peanuts" by the Provincial Agriculture Committee in 2011, it also registered its own peanuts with the brand of "Shengjing Yemao". At the same time, the town has also built a new peanut wholesale market covering an area of 100 mu, which has become a distribution center for peanut planting, processing and sales in northwest Liaoning.
