Niandoubao

Nian Dou Bao is a kind of steamed stuffed bun with sticky rice flour as skin and adzuki beans as stuffing, also known as "sticky bean Bao", because it is made during the New Year, also known as "Nian Dou Bao". During the Spring Festival in kanto region, regardless of Han nationality or Manchu nationality, it is customary to steam several pots of "Nian Dou Bao", or to freeze it for eating in the first month, or to give it to relatives and friends in the city.
