"Gongbao" celery

There is a saying: "Shouguang in the south and Baochang in the north". Taibus Banner is also the "hometown of green celery", the "first flag of vegetables in northern Beijing" and an important vegetable base in Beijing. After years of construction and efforts, vegetables in Taibus Banner have registered the trademark of "Gongbao" in the country, and have been named as pollution-free vegetable planting base and pollution-free vegetable wholesale market by the autonomous region. The vegetable industry has formed a pollution-free production system from base to market to brand. At present, the vegetable industry in the whole flag has formed a new industrial pattern of regionalization of planting, specialization of production, socialization of service and integration of production and marketing. Vegetables are exported to more than ten provinces and cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong, Hubei, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and some of them are exported to Japan and South Korea. At present, the main focus is on cultivating and standardizing intermediary organizations, studying the market, focusing on pre-,mid-and post-natal services, promoting the standardization, industrialization and informationization of vegetable planting, establishing vegetable associations and brokers' associations, completing the national green food certification, and establishing the information network of the wholesale market of origin, so as to build Taibus Banner into an important production and processing base and wholesale distribution area of vegetables in the wrong season in the northern region by 2005.
