Tricholoma is a natural edible fungus. Historically, most of the mushrooms produced in Inner Mongolia grassland were processed and sold through Zhangjiakou City, so they were named Tricholoma. Tricholoma is divided into white mushroom, fragrant mushroom, green-legged mushroom, chicken-claw mushroom, black mushroom and other varieties. The meat is tender and mellow, delicious, and has the reputation of being a vegetarian. Mushroom shavings have high nutritional value, containing protein 3.74% (white mushrooms 4.78), sugar 3.51%, fat 0.43%, fiber 0.84%, minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, calcium and iron, and vitamins B and C, etc. Mushroom shavings have bactericidal effect, and there are records of medicinal use of mushroom shavings in history. The main producing areas of Tricholoma matsutake in Xilin Gol League are Dongwuzhumuqin Banner, Xiwuzhumuqin Banner, Abaha Naer Banner, Hulunbeier League, Tongliao City and other grassland areas. In normal years, the annual output of the whole region can reach about 500,000 kilograms, including about 50,000 kilograms of white mushrooms.
