Su Nite sheep was approved as a local thoroughbred by Xilin Gol League Technical Supervision Bureau in 1986. Su Nite sheep not only has many advantages, such as big body, more meat, tender and juicy, and no smell, but also has plump carcass, delicious color, thick and compact meat layer, high protein, low fat, high lean meat rate, uniform distribution of muscle fat, rich amino acids and fatty acids needed by human body, easy digestion and so on. It is the best raw material for making "instant-boiled mutton" and is highly praised and warmly welcomed by users at home and abroad. Su Nite sheep is a local fine breed that has been bred for a long time in the semi-desert grassland ecological environment. In 1997, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's 0 was officially named. It has the characteristics of cold resistance, drought resistance and roughage resistance. The average weight of 6-month-old Jie sheep is 38 kg, and the meat is 13 kg. The carcass weight of adult Jie meat is generally about 34 kg, and the net meat is 28 kg. Because of the frequent intake of tufted grasses and onion grasses, mutton is tender, delicious and juicy, high in protein, low in fat and tasteless, and has always been the raw material above mutton in Beijing Donglaishun Restaurant. According to experts' determination, the contents of several main amino acids necessary for human body in Su Nite mutton are obviously higher than other mutton. The scope of protection of geographical indication products of mutton in Su Nite is subject to the scope proposed in the Letter on Confirming the Protection Scope of Geographical Indication Products of "Su Nite Mutton" (No.34 [2007] of Xishuzi) issued by Xilingol League Administrative Office of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which is the administrative area under the jurisdiction of Sunite Zuoqi and Sunite Youqi of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Su Nite Mutton Su Nite Mutton Geographical Indications Product Protection Scope is 12 Sumu towns and 104 Gacha in the administrative areas under the jurisdiction of Sunite Zuoqi, Sunite Youqi and Erenhot in Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Located in the northwest of Xilin Gol League and the southeast of Mongolian Plateau, it is located at 111 24 ′-115 12 ′ east longitude and 42 45 ′-45 15 ′ north latitude.
