Wumeng millet is an undergraduate crop of Poa pratensis, and its grain is cereal grain, also known as "millet". Millet originated in China, which was recorded in Oracle Bone Inscriptions and The Book of Songs. Millet has the advantages of drought and heat resistance, insect resistance and short growth period. Millet is also one of the main food crops in the arid areas of northern China, with Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Ningxia and Shaanxi as the main producing areas, but the output is not much. The caryopsis of millet is oblate and smooth, the grain is yellowish white, the powder is opaque, waxy and viscous.
