Xinghe potato is a specialty of Xinghe County, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Xinghe County has fertile soil, abundant water resources and light and heat conditions, which are very suitable for potato planting. The main planting varieties are Shapoti, Holland 15, Kexin and Dahuaihua2191. Potato is one of the main crops in Xinghe County, Wulanchabu City. It has a long planting history, and its growth and development law is consistent with the local natural climate characteristics. It has obvious resource advantages and great development potential. The county party committee and government conform to the laws of nature and economy, and make potato one of the leading agricultural industries in the county. In recent years, governments at all levels in the county have taken the promotion of potato industrialization as the focus of rural work, mainly making efforts in potato breeding system construction, potato large-scale planting, processing and transformation, marketing and other industrial operations, and the industrialization level has been significantly improved. At present, the annual planting area has remained stable at more than 400,000 mu, with a total output of more than 800 million kilograms. It is the main potato producing area in Wulanchabu City and even the whole region.
