Gobi bimodal red camel Gobi bimodal red camel is a rare camel species, mainly distributed in the Gobi area north of Yinshan Mountain and south of the border between China and Mongolia. Camel hair is mainly purplish red, so it is called "red camel". Gobi red camel lives on desert grassland and has strong adaptability to harsh environment. It has many uses, such as wool, meat, skin, milk and service, and is a livestock with high economic value. The average annual wool yield of each adult red camel is 4.2 kg, the wool yield is 3.57 kg, and the net wool rate is 63%. Therefore, red camel hair is famous at home and abroad for its long fiber, fine wool and high yield, and has won the second international camel hair award of Anmeiqiao in the United States. The weight is 200-450kg, and the slaughter rate is about 5.2%. Camel paws, humps and camel tendons are high-class delicacies at the banquet.
