Osmo

The rice ground by steaming and boiling the glutinous rice is called "Osmo" in Daur language. It has a slight paste flavor and is used to make dry rice and fresh milk porridge, which is one of the daily staple foods of Daur people. The uncooked millet rice, which is slightly sticky, is called "Hijimo", which is used to cook yogurt and sticky porridge, and can also be processed into flour for cakes.
