Paper puppet "paper puppet" is called "hanika" in Daur language, which began after the introduction of paper in the early Qing Dynasty. "hanika" is translated into Chinese as "Yan Ren", which is very small, just like Yan Ren, hence the name, and it is a kind of children's toy. The "paper doll" is simple to make. First, make the upper end of the cylindrical body, then cut the robe or vest, cross the sleeves on the chest, and paint the five senses to decorate it. Children's toy "paper doll" is one of the forms of early education for Daur children. Some children have more than a hundred paper dolls, which are kept in wooden boxes. There are various plots when playing, such as Chinese New Year, marrying a daughter, going back to my parents' home, visiting relatives, going hunting, returning from hunting and so on.
