Hangjinhou Banner is located in the west of Bayannaoer City, in the Hetao impact plain, and the soil is sandy loam. With fertile soil, convenient irrigation and drainage and suitable climate, it has been a good place for farming and grazing since ancient times. It is a typical temperate continental climate with an average annual temperature of 8℃ and a frost-free period of about 141 days. With an annual sunshine duration of 3,200 hours and a large temperature difference between day and night, it is one of the regions with the richest sunshine resources in China. Abundant light and heat resources and advantaged gravity irrigation by diverting water from the Yellow River have laid a solid material foundation for the development of agriculture and animal husbandry. The whole flag is rich in wheat, corn, sunflower, oil sunflower, black melon seeds, tomatoes, watermelons, honeydew melons, soybeans, Chinese cabbage, green peppers, cucumbers, beans, tomatoes and other vegetables. Shanba, where the flag government is located, governs 8 towns and 107 villages. The total population is 308,324, including Mongolian, Hui, Manchu, Dahan 'er and other ethnic minorities, accounting for 1.6% of the population of the whole banner. With the advantage of suburban areas, shanba's vegetable industry has been relatively developed. In recent years, the town has actively guided farmers to change the extensive vegetable production mode in the past, made great efforts to make the "vegetable basket" project fine and excellent, and explored a road of modern agricultural development of "brand development, standardized production and industrialized operation". According to the characteristics of "one village, one product", shanba has adjusted its planting structure and production layout to form four production bases, namely, off-season vegetables, watermelon melons, conventional vegetables and dehydrated vegetables.
