Chinese fish in Dali Lake

Chinese fish in Dali Lake

Chinese roe fish (Leuciscus waleckii (dybowski)) enjoys a good reputation in Inner Mongolia, Northeast China and Beijing and Tianjin, and has great development and popularization value, because of its excellent properties such as temperature resistance, salt and alkali tolerance, wide eating habits, fast growth and fresh taste. Before the 1970s, Chinese roe fish were widely distributed in the large and medium-sized waters of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. After 1980s, due to the changes in the ecological environment of the waters, Chinese roe fish disappeared one after another. Located in Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Dali Lake covers an area of about 238 square kilometers (about 377,000 mu), with an average annual water depth of 6.7 meters, a maximum water depth of 13 meters, a ph value of 9.4, a total alkalinity of 45me /L and a total salt content of 5‰. It is a carbonate brackish water lake, and the Chinese roe fish is currently living well in Dali Lake, with an annual output of about 200,000 kg. From May 1 to May 15, 2005, the Institute of Fishery Science of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region conducted a full investigation on the water quality and aquatic organisms in Qigainao, Bojianghai, Kuizinao, Mukennao and Heitannao, which are highly salinized in Ordos City, and used the water from the above water bodies to conduct an indoor incubation test on the fertilized eggs of Chinese roe fish in Dali Lake, which was successful. On this basis, the Institute of Fishery Science of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region cooperated with Dali Lake Fishing Ground to transplant 600,000 fertilized eggs of Sinopotamon into Qigainao. After more than 10 days of incubation, about 300,000 fry of Sinopotamon have been hatched and put into Qigainao and Kuizinao respectively for culture experiments. At present, scientific and technical personnel are closely observing the growth of Chinese roe fish transplanted into the water body. If the transplantation experiment of Chinese roe fish is successful, it will greatly promote the development and utilization of Chinese roe fish and the development of fishery economy in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. At the same time, it is of great significance to the development and utilization, ecological restoration and local economic development of many alkaline lakes and reservoirs in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and all over the country. Darinol National Nature Reserve Management Office of Inner Mongolia The Darinol National Nature Reserve in Hexigten Banner is now under the jurisdiction of Dali Lake and its surrounding water system. The geographical coordinates are 116 22 ′ ~ 117 00 ′ east longitude and 43 11 ′ ~ 43 27 ′ north latitude. AGI 2010-07-00369 is a geographical indication product of agricultural products.
