Wangjiazhuang walnut

Nuanquan Town is located in the southwest of Zhongyang County, Shanxi Province, 57 kilometers away from the county seat. It has jurisdiction over 15 administrative village committees and 40 natural villages, with 4,421 households and 16,860 people, with a total land area of 178 square kilometers, 333.5 million mu of cultivated land, 125,300 mu of woodland and 28,600 mu of walnut forest. It is a typical pure agricultural township. Since 1999, Wenquan Town has firmly grasped the rare development opportunity of the World Bank project and the project of returning farmland to forests, based on reality and scientific planning, put forward the development idea of "walnut enriching the people" and solidly promoted industrial development. In 2005, Nuanquan Town timely put forward the development model of "Walnut Mountain, Miliangchuan and Ecological Ditch" and the two development goals of walnut forest and ecological forest, strengthened the cultivation of pillar industries of walnut, and strived to build a green town with complementary economic and ecological benefits. The construction of 10,000 mu of walnut ecological park has made breakthrough progress, and there are 16,000 mu of high-quality walnut forest. Wangjiazhuang Village is located in the west of Wenquan Town, 8 kilometers away from the town, with a total of 260 households and a total population of 760. The whole village has an area of 2,113 mu of cultivated land, and 760 mu of walnut was built in 2004-2006.
