Tongchuan pear

Produced in Shangzhuang, Dongshe and Nanbai Township of Yuanping County, it has a long history. Legend has it that an old pear tree was planted in the Tang Dynasty and still produces more than 200 kilograms of pears a year. The "Pear Blossom Festival" on the sixth day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar began in the Northern Wei Dynasty. The ancients once praised Tongchuan pears as "ten thousand pears blossom in sunny snow" and praised them as "golden melons". Tongchuan pear is bright yellow in color, thin in skin, juicy in stone, mellow in fragrance, with a sugar content of 7-13% and an acid content of 0.1-1%. The pear is oblate, with an average fruit weight of about 3-2, beautiful in appearance, with a yellow-green surface, sometimes with a blush on the sunny side, and turns yellow after storage. Because the fruit surface has a very thick layer of wax like a layer of oil, Avocado pulp is white, sweet, slightly sour and slightly fragrant, and now it is exported to China and Mongolia, the Soviet Union, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macao and other countries and regions.
