Wuzhai tofu

The processing of Wuzhai tofu and bean products has always been the specialty of Wuzhai people, and tofu is the most numerous bean products. Its fine production has a history of hundreds of years. In addition, the Qinglian River flows down the mountain, and the wild plants such as Astragalus membranaceus, Codonopsis pilosula and Ganoderma lucidum in Luya Mountain flow into the river, making the water sweet and pure. This water is used to process tofu, which is white and tender and rich in various nutrients. According to relevant historical records, during the Yongzheng period of Qing Dynasty, every county magistrate who lived in Wuzhai was bound to send officers to Xiang Jing to transport tofu day and night.
