Shenchi naked oats

Naked oats originated from the alpine mountain area in North China, and Shenchi County, Shanxi Province may be one of the earliest birthplaces of naked oats. Shenchi naked oats are well-known so far, so they are said to be the hometown of naked oats. Around the 9th century BC, naked oats were introduced into Inner Mongolia from Shanxi, and gradually spread to mountainous areas, hilly areas and some Pingchuan areas in northern China. Later, with the deepening of people's understanding of naked oats, it spread all over the country. Later, China's naked oats were introduced to Russia, the United States and Chile for planting. The naked oats in Shenchi are spindle-shaped, with ventral furrows, with a length of 0.8-1.3 cm, a width of 0.2-0.4 cm and a dry grain weight of 31-33.5 g, which is 0.2-0.4 cm longer, 0.1-0.15 cm wider and 3-4 g higher than the same quality seeds planted in different places. The seeds of naked oats in Shenchi are white and yellow, and the yellowness of naked oats in Shenchi is deeper than that of the same variety in different places. The naked oats in Shenchi are neat and full, and the flour yield is as high as 97%, while the highest flour yield is 95% in different places. The flour processed by Shenchi naked oats is white and yellow, and its yellowness is greater than that in other places, with high gluten, poor viscosity, good taste, large draught, cold resistance and hunger tolerance. Shenchi Naked Wheat Shanxi Shenchi County Agricultural Technology Extension Center has 241 administrative villages in 10 townships including Longquan Town, Yijing Town, Bajiao Town, Taipingzhuang Township, Hubei Township, Hezhi Township, Changfan Township, Liebao Township, Dayanbei Township and Donghu Township. The geographical coordinates are 111 42 ′ 00 ″ east longitude ~ 112 18 ′ 00 ″ north latitude ~ 38 56 ′ 00 ″ north latitude.
