Zanthoxylum ruicheng

Ruicheng Zanthoxylum bungeanum is located in Zhongtiao Mountain area in the north of fenglingdu Town, Ruicheng County. It is the largest production base of "Dahongpao" Zanthoxylum bungeanum in China, with Zhongyao Zanthoxylum bungeanum base as the center, and auxiliary injection distributed along the mountain in Zhongyao, Yangcheng, Duzhuang, Dawang, Xuezhang and other towns. It is known as the "hometown of Zanthoxylum bungeanum". Ruicheng Zanthoxylum bungeanum is popular in Southeast Asian countries, Hong Kong, Macao, Guangdong, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia and other places with its unique high-quality quality. The main cultivated variety "Dahongpao" has excellent quality, bright color, large grain size, thick skin, strong flavor, no discoloration after sun exposure, and can be used to extract oil, with an oil content as high as 25-30%, and it is also an industrial oil and a medical and health care product. Generally, it takes two years to form after planting, three years to bear fruit, and five years to enter the fruiting period. After seven or eight years, a single plant can produce 5-10 kilograms of dried pepper, and the highest plant can produce 40-50 kilograms of dried pepper. On August 28, 2008, Ruicheng Zanthoxylum successfully passed the certification of the Ministry of Agriculture and became a national geographical indication protection product. The Zanthoxylum bungeanum Industry Association of Ruicheng County, Shanxi Province is located in Ruicheng County, Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. Ruicheng County is located in the south of Shanxi Province, with a land span of 112 58 ′-113 37 ′ east longitude and 37 17 ′-38 45 ′ north latitude.
