Schisandra Pinglu

Schisandra chinensis is a deciduous vine, which is wild in Pinglu mountain area. Its green leaves are oblong and petiolate. In summer, it has small red, yellow and white flowers, and the flowers lag behind to form fruits. The lunar calendar matures from late July to August, showing red and yellow spikes, each with a diameter of one and a half to two cents. People often eat it raw and taste sweet and sour. After boiled and peeled, its seeds can be used as medicine, and it tastes acidic and warm, and has the effects of astringing lung and nourishing kidney, promoting fluid production and astringing sweat, astringing essence and stopping diarrhea.
